1) Sending his sympathy to her in her time of grief following Francis Bennoch's death and telling her of his wife's grave condition. Richmond, Eng. 1890 July 18. 2) Thanking her for a letter of sympathy at his wife's death, commenting on his great loss and asking if the note by his wife sent at the time of Bennoch's death could be returned; it was the last thing she wrote. Ayton, Berks., Eng. 1890 Aug. 27.
